Unemployed trans actor says it’s Trump’s fault they can’t find work after he eliminated DEI

Watch Louder with Crowder every weekday at 11:00 AM Eastern, only on Rumble Premium!Transgender actor Laverne Cox has claimed to have lost 90 of his income. Of course, just as leftists do, he blamed Trump. This is not because Trump has anything to do with his income or hiring contracts, but because these people cannot handle the fact that no one cares about their deranged ideology. This is nothing more than a personal problem, but he has decided to turn this into a subtle, passive-aggressive form of panhandling.Trans actress Laverne Cox blames Trump for 90 income loss due to Trump’s actions on DEI Laverne Cox says Trump's attacks on gender ideology and DEI has cost her speaking engagements and teaching jobs pic.twitter.com/8rtbuF5JCp— Defiant L’s (@DefiantLs) June 16, 2026 Per the Daily Caller: Cox, a biological male, claimed hosting contracts have dried up, corporate engagements aren’t booking and existing deals were not renewed during a recent interview with The Guardian. The Education Department has targeted so-called diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in U.S. universities since Trump returned to the White House in January 2025.This has nothing to do with the way this man identifies and has everything to do with the fact that this country no longer supports this nonsense as a form of policy. While it is great that Cox believes putting on a dress is enough to satisfy his delusions, that is not what universities or schools should be concerned with. This, along with the fact that no one wants to pay him to speak about his delusion and fake sense of victimhood, is precisely why what he stands for continues to become more irrelevant by the day. When you turn an illogical ideology into your entire identity, this is what happens. Pretending that ambiguous feelings somehow should be at the forefront of one's career does not tend to increase income. Why is this controversial? Squarely putting the blame on Trump’s administration, Cox told the publication, “This regime has threatened to defund any colleges and universities that promote gender ideology, DEI [diversity, equity and inclusion].”He is making it seem like he is being targeted because of his fake sense of identity. When in reality, this administration has ensured that public institutions stop spreading lies. And just because his truth tells him he is worthy of special treatment does not mean that is how reality works. “[E]ven though I’d be teaching a graduate acting class, it could be perceived as promoting trans ideology,” he told The Guardian. The actor went on to say, “These are the realities. I’m not complaining – I’m very blessed. I think the important thing to note is that if Laverne Cox’s income has gone down significantly, what about all the other trans people who are not as privileged and as blessed as I am?”Again, this is a personal problem. It is comical, though, how he complains then pretends he does not want to complain. When in reality, he is complaining in hopes someone gives him a temporary platform or the chance to give a speech or two. This is pathetic. - YouTube www.youtube.com
