2. Content Aggregation & Copyright

The Service aggregates publicly available news headlines, snippets, and metadata from third-party publishers using the CoDataLab Engine. We do not claim ownership of any third-party content displayed on the Service. All such content remains the intellectual property of its respective original publishers and is subject to their terms and copyright notices.

Our own original content — including but not limited to site design, logos, editorial analysis labels, AI-generated summaries, and software — is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without our express written permission.

3. AI-Powered Analysis — Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence and algorithmic tools to generate bias scores, propaganda analysis, sentiment labels, and narrative summaries. You acknowledge and agree that:

• All AI-generated analysis is editorial and informational in nature and does not constitute verified fact, professional journalism, legal advice, or any other form of certified assessment.

• Bias and propaganda scores are probabilistic estimates produced by automated systems and may contain errors, omissions, or reflect the limitations of the underlying models.

• You should independently verify any information obtained through the Service before relying on it for any purpose.

• CoDataLab is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content displayed on the Service.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service in any way that:

• Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

• Involves systematic scraping, crawling, or automated data harvesting of the Service's content or infrastructure without our prior written consent.

• Attempts to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its servers, or any database connected to the Service.

• Reverse-engineers, decompiles, or attempts to extract the source code of the CoDataLab Engine or any related software.

• Transmits any unsolicited advertising, spam, or promotional material.

• Impersonates any person or entity or misrepresents your affiliation with any person or entity.

• Interferes with or disrupts the integrity or performance of the Service.

• Uses the Service to harass, defame, or harm any individual or group.

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the Service immediately and without notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated any of the above prohibitions.

5. Third-Party Links & Advertising

The Service contains links to third-party websites and services that are not owned or controlled by CoDataLab. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. We strongly advise you to review the terms and privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

The Service displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and its partners. These third-party advertising services may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. CODATALAB DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, THAT RESULTS OBTAINED WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, OR THAT ANY ERRORS WILL BE CORRECTED.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CODATALAB, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH: (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE; (II) ANY CONTENT OR INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE; (III) UNAUTHORISED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR DATA; OR (IV) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN JURISDICTIONS THAT DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CoDataLab and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (i) your violation of these Terms; (ii) your use of the Service; or (iii) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property right or privacy right.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. 11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where CoDataLab is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the relevant arbitration body in CoDataLab's jurisdiction.

Nothing in this section shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

13. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CoDataLab regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, written or oral, relating to the same subject matter.
