Henry Novak's arresting police officer's under investigation for gross misconduct

The UK police officers behind the arrest of 18-year-old Henry Nowak before his death are under investigation for alleged gross misconduct. The Hampshire officers' investigation follows the arrest and handcuffing of Nowak as he slowly bled to death. As the 18-year-old bled out, his attacker, 23-year-old Vickrum Digwa, was treated by police as a victim of a racially motivated attack. Digwa was sentenced to a minimum of 21 years in prison for the murder of Henry Nowak. Two officers are now facing an investigation for failing to medically treat Nowak's stab wounds, according to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
