The certification is valid until April 24, 2027.“This recertification reflects the dedication of our team to maintaining the highest international food safety and quality standards. It reinforces the confidence that our customers around the world place in Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee and the products manufactured by Mavis Bank Coffee Factory,” said Grant in an interview.Grant highlighted that MBCF purchases premium Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee from approximately 5,000 coffee farmers located within the Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee-growing regions of St Andrew, St Thomas and Portland, supporting rural livelihoods while preserving one of Jamaica's most renowned agricultural industries.Established in 1923, MBCF exports authentic Jamaica Blue Mountains Coffee to international markets including Japan, the United States, China, Europe, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, United Arab Emirates and the wider Caribbean.“The company remains committed to a culture of continuous improvement, quality, food safety, and innovation while producing and marketing its internationally-recognised brands, including MBCF, JABLUM, Wallenford, and True Brew,” said Grant.The managing director said MBCF will also participate in the upcoming Denbigh Agricultural, Industrial and Food Show, scheduled for July 31 to August 2 at the Denbigh Showground in May Pen, Clarendon, where the company will showcase its products and engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
