Dubai Municipality launches AI-powered virtual spokesperson 'Saeed'

Dubai: Dubai Municipality has announced the creation and launch of 'Saeed', the first intelligent media spokesperson powered by artificial intelligence.The new initiative introduces a digital representative that will serve as the Municipality’s official voice, communicating its achievements, news and projects to the public in an interactive and direct manner characterised by transparency, speed and reliability.According to the Municipality, 'Saeed' reflects a qualitative step in strengthening Dubai’s position as a global model in adopting and deploying artificial intelligence technologies in government operations and communications.The AI-powered spokesperson will act as a digital interface between the Municipality and the public, helping deliver information in a more accessible and responsive format.Dubai Municipality stated that the launch forms part of broader efforts to enhance smart government communication and reinforce the emirate’s leadership in innovation and digital transformation.The initiative also highlights Dubai’s ongoing commitment to leveraging advanced technologies to improve public engagement and support efficient dissemination of information.Authorities noted that 'Saeed' is designed to provide real-time updates and communicate key initiatives, contributing to a more transparent and connected relationship between government entities and the community.
