Warriors Attempting To Trade For Anthony Davis, Sign LeBron James
The Golden State Warriors are looking to trade for Anthony Davis and then sign LeBron James, sources told Kevin O'Connor of Yahoo! Sports. Any trade for Davis would include Jimmy Butler, who is on an expiring 57 million deal. The Warriors also have two future firsts and four first-round swaps to add into a deal. The Warriors are then hoping that adding Davis would entice James to sign with the Warriors. It was reported last week that the Lakers have yet to offer James a contract this offseason. The Wizards have messaged that they intend to keep Davis. Davis is eligible for a four-year, 275 million extension on August 6. The Warriors have also been linked with Anfernee Simons, Jock Landale, and Collin Sexton in free agency.
