Socialist LA mayoral candidate demands less money to protect Los Angelinos, but more money to give to the homeless

Watch Louder with Crowder every weekday at 11:00 AM Eastern, only on Rumble Premium!Nithya Raman, the current LA City Council member who is running against Karen Bass and Spencer Pratt, says that she is disappointed that the city has been funding police too much and not illegal immigrants enough! pic.twitter.com/P1pZYWLr77— John K. Amanchukwu Sr. (@REVWUTRUTH) May 27, 2026 The City of Los Angeles does not know how to manage its funds. This has resulted in broken traffic lights taking over a year to fix. This is unacceptable. Rather than do what needs to be done to fix this failing system, Nithya Raman has decided the city is spending too much on public safety and not enough on homelessness. You really cannot make this level of insanity up.According to Raman, the city gave more money to police officers than she wanted, which she believes contributed to the 1 billion deficit. This is why she claims the city cut funding for essential services, such as fixing potholes. In other words, she has admitted that the city is so incompetent that it cannot perform its most basic functions as a municipal government. Nonetheless, she lacks any form of self-awareness and believes the problem is not giving more money for “housing” the “unhoused” despite her admitting they cannot even keep the streets from falling apart. She also added that the city is not spending enough money on lawyers for illegal immigrants. “Our ability to be able to build our unarmed crisis response has gone down. We are not funding immigration defense at the rate we are used to,” she said, adding that illegal immigrants need these services desperately. Call me crazy, but last time I checked, the point of government was to represent American citizens -- not foreign nationals. Raman believes otherwise, whoever, and claims the city is not giving foreigners enough of the residents' hard-earned cash. To call this deranged would be an understatement. You have to be objectively stupid to believe that not funding public safety is less of a priority than paying for the legal defense of those who have broken federal immigration laws. These people have truly lost their minds. - YouTube www.youtube.com
