Dubai: Private schools have issued strict guidelines to students and parents ahead of final examinations, emphasising adherence to organisational and disciplinary rules as the academic year draws to a close.School administrations confirmed in official circulars that Thursday, 11 June 2026, will be the final school day before the start of end-of-year exams.Ban on gifts and celebratory itemsSchools have reiterated a strict policy prohibiting students from giving gifts, sweets or souvenirs to teaching and administrative staff. The policy applies throughout the academic year and is intended to maintain a professional and organised educational environment.Administrations also warned students against bringing any celebration-related items onto school premises. These include confetti, whistles, coloured sprays, festive strands, cheer horns, balloons and similar materials that may disrupt school activities.Strict penalties for violationsSchools confirmed that any student found carrying prohibited items will face disciplinary action. This includes being barred from sitting examinations on the scheduled dates and being required to apply for make-up exams in August, in accordance with approved procedures.Uniform and conduct requirementsStudents have been instructed to strictly adhere to the official school uniform during school hours and exams.
