King Maha Vajiralongkorn’s eldest child had been in a coma for the last three and a half years after falling unconscious with a heart condition while training dogs in December 2022. She had been cared for in a Bangkok hospital ever since. “This loss is not merely bad news announced to the people, but an immeasurable grief in the hearts of the entire nation,” Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said.
