Vročina v Evropi ne pojenja, smrtne žrtve pa naraščajo. Iz Francije poročajo o še enem primeru, ko je v vročem avtomobilu umrl komaj triletni otrok, v Srbiji pa je najstnik zaradi vročine doživel infarkt. Medtem je v Španiji v petih dneh zaradi visokih temperatur umrlo že več kot 200 ljudi, največ v sredo. Večina med njimi je bila starejših od 65 let.
