Meta's new AI, Muse, lets anyone edit your Instagram photos - Opt out now!

As the AI race continues, Meta’s latest attempt to keep up is its new AI image generator, Muse Image. This AI tool, available in Instagram, WhatsApp, and Meta's AI app, allows users to create AI-generated images or use AI to make edits on existing photographs. It’s not surprising that Meta has taken its AI capabilities a step too far by allowing Instagram users to manipulate other users' pictures with AI, if the user’s profile is set to public. Some Meta users might embrace AI’s image editing capabilities, but for others, the fact that someone could edit their images on Instagram with AI is enough of a concern to make them stop using Meta’s products altogether – and we don’t blame them!

Microsoft resumes auto-install of Microsoft 365 Copilot – Here’s how admins can opt out!

The automatic installation of the Copilot app, which did not ask users to opt in, started at the beginning of December but was temporarily disabled due to “a technical issue”. Unfortunately, the tech giant has now resumed this. This means that if your organisation uses Windows and is running Microsoft 365 Apps Version 2511 or later, the Copilot app will automatically install in the background. Admins must follow these steps to prevent the automatic installation of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app.

US government shuts down Anthropic AI model – another proof why we need European digital sovereignty!

The hype around Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues as its technology is rapidly advancing. Among the leading companies in the artificial intelligence industry is Anthropic. The company made headlines in June when it shut down its most advanced AI models Fable 5 and Mythos 5 worldwide, just three days after its release.
