Teenagers hospitalised following Attard collision

A 16-year-old and a 13-year-old were hospitalised early this morning after the car they were travelling in crashed into an abandoned building in Attard.The accident occurred at approximately 3.30am on Triq il-Kbira, the police said.Police officers arrived on the scene shortly after the report and discovered a Kia Picanto that had collided with the structure. Medical teams provided emergency assistance on-site before transporting both minors to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.Following medical evaluation, the 16-year-old was found to have sustained slight injuries, while the 13-year-old was certified as suffering from grievous injuries.Police investigations into the circumstances of the accident are currently ongoing.
