SHANGHAI, China — The Saudi Mathematics Team is competing in the 67th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO 2026), taking place from July 10 to 21, with students representing more than 100 countries. A team of six secondary school students — prepared by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) in partnership with the Ministry of Education — heads into one of the world's oldest and most challenging international mathematics competitions for secondary school students following an intensive qualification and training journey. The students completed a comprehensive training pathway that began with the National Science and Mathematics Olympiad (NSMO), followed by a series of specialized training forums and programs. **media[2736406]** Their preparation concluded with an intensive training phase lasting nearly two months under the supervision of leading national and international Olympiad experts.
