La mejora de las condiciones meteorológicas, con vientos débiles, ha permitido este sábado abrir y aprovechar “una ventana de oportunidad” en la lucha contra el incendio forestal en Los Gallardos, en Almería y frenar el avance de un fuego, que ha causado la muerte de doce personas y calcinado 6.600 hectáreas. Además, hay una veintena de ciudadanos “ilocalizados” temporalmente por sus familiares. En total, 1.448 personas siguen desalojadas de sus viviendas, aunque algunas de ellas han podido acceder momentáneamente para recoger medicinas, animales o atender alguna necesidad. De ellas, unas 164 estaban realojadas en los dispositivos habilitados por las autoridades, pero han sido reubicadas en hoteles que sugragará el gobierno central. Además, la Guardia Civil ha detenido a dos personas por desobedecer sus órdenes de desalojo oponiendo resistencia para volver a acceder al área que había sido evacuada.
