NSW Premier Chris Minns addressed concerns about the glorification of terror attacks after Director-General of Security Mike Burgess warned that individuals can be radicalised online and in isolation within a matter of days. “I obviously worry about that more than anything else,” Mr Minns told Sky News Australia. “To see people radicalised in Australia as a result of this malevolent evil force, this radical Islamic terrorist ideology, is horrifying. “It's a horrifying prospect to think that we would go through that again. “It is obviously confronting for people in New South Wales to hear that there's a level higher than probable when it comes to terrorism events, but that's the grim reality that we are in. “We need to smash these groups up, we need to confront them in every aspect of life.”
