Two German passengers were taken to hospital early on Monday morning after the cab they were travelling in crashed in Fgura, Times of Malta reported.Police said the accident happened at around 4.15am on Żabbar Road, when a 58-year-old cab driver from Birkirkara lost control of an MG at a roundabout and crashed into the parapet of a residence.The passengers, a 19-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman, were taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.Their condition was not immediately known.Police investigations are ongoing.

Two German passengers were taken to hospital early on Monday morning after the cab they were travelling in crashed in Fgura.Police said the accident happened at around 4.15am on Triq Ħaż-Żabbar, when a 58-year-old cab driver from Birkirkara lost control of an MG MG4 Electric vehicle at a roundabout.The vehicle first hit a monument in the middle of the roundabout before crashing into the parapet of a residence.The passengers, a 19-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman, both from Germany, were assisted by a medical team at the scene before being taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.The man was later certified as having suffered minor injuries, while the woman was certified as having suffered grievous injuries.Police investigations are ongoing.
