In today's GB News Daily Reflection, we remember that the birth of John the Baptist was surrounded by wonder and expectation.His parents, Zechariah and Elizabeth, had longed, hoped and prayed for a child. Now, against all expectations, their son had arrived. Those who witnessed these events sensed that something remarkable was unfolding. True greatness in John's example, is found not in drawing attention to ourselves, but in helping others see something greater. Luke concludes by saying the child grew and waxed strong in spirit. Purpose often unfolds gradually. Growth comes before influence.Preparation comes before fulfilment. The story of John reminds us that every life has seasons of becoming, and that God works patiently through it all. Let's pray. Faithful God, thank you for the example of John the Baptist.
