An activist dressed up as a purple bong and another protester singing songs derailed a New Jersey city council meeting, TMZ reported Thursday.During public comment at the Cranford Township meeting Tuesday, a man who called himself Bongholeo, dressed up as the smoking apparatus and carried a car seat with his son Bongholito. He sang along to the tune of Lizzo's hit song It's About Damn Time, but instead inserted his own lyrics: It's big bong o'clock, yeah, it's hit 30. He walked away from the podium when he was finished.It wasn't his first time at a city council meeting, and in 2024 he got kicked out of an Edison council meeting, TMZ reported.Another protester carried a sign that said refuse govt. abuse, walked up to the podium after Bongholeo, sang a melody and talked about how party leaders were abusing their power.
