A host of campaign promises have been shelved because of the focus on the conflict, which has entered its fourth month. Insiders have now said there’s a pervasive sense of “burnout,” and some wonder if a staff shake-up would inject a newfound rigor into the executive, according to Politico. “The administration is all-consumed by this conflict.
