PORTLAND, Jamaica — A Portland motorist, Alty Walters, was on Tuesday fined 50,000 after pleading guilty to offering a 5,000 bribe to a police officer on May 22, 2026.The bribe was offered whilst he was being charged for a traffic offence on West Street in Port Antonio.Walters appeared before Portland’s Senior Judge Her Honour Jacqueline Willcott on Tuesday, where he pleaded guilty.
