Walker Kessler has agreed to join the Los Angeles Lakers on a four-year, 130 million sign-and-trade that will send unprotected first round picks in 2031 and 2033 along with first round pick swaps in 2028 and 2030 to the Utah Jazz. The Jazz were expected to match any offer sheet Kessler signed in restricted free agency, which led to the negotiation of a sign-and-trade with Utah getting significant draft capital back in return. Utah offered a five-year, 150 million contract to Kessler. The Lakers entered the offseason with up to five tradeable first round picks and now only have one left with their 2032 swap available. Kessler appeared in just five games last season due to a torn labrum i his left shoulder in November. During the 2024-25 season, Kessler averaged 11.1 points, 12.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.4 blocks in 30.0 minutes across 58 games. Kessler was originally acquired by the Jazz in the 2022 Rudy Gobert trade as this further adds to Utah's draft haul originating from that deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Jazz re-signed Jusuf Nurkic this offseason on a two-year, 22 million deal and will give the team depth at center. Kessler is represented by Aaron Mintz, Houston Kessler and Dave Spahn. The Lakers are now expected to reach agreements with Sandro Mamukelashvili and Quentin Grimes.

APEDA Facilitates Export of Jharkhand’s Amrapali Mangoes to Dubai New Delhi, Jul 7 (KNN) The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) has facilitated the commercial export of 2 metric tonnes (MT) of Amrapali mangoes from Gumla and Deoghar districts in Jharkhand to Dubai, marking another step in promoting exports from tribal and women-led farmer collectives. The consignment, exported on July 3, 2026, was shipped by M/s Fair Exports (India) Pvt. Ltd. for retail distribution through Lulu stores in Dubai. The mangoes were sourced from three women-led Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) promoted by the Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS). Of the total consignment, 1 MT came from MVM Baghima Palkot Producer Company Limited and Raidih Agri Producer Company Limited in Gumla district, while the remaining 1 MT was sourced from Mohanpur Ajeevika Mahila Kisan Producer Society in Deoghar district. According to APEDA, the export enabled participating farmers to realise around 180 per cent higher returns compared to prevailing local market prices. The three FPCs together have over 50,000 member farmers and more than 1,500 shareholders each. APEDA said it had organised capacity-building programmes in Jharkhand to help FPCs meet international quality standards, improve post-harvest handling and understand export procedures, supporting export readiness among women-led farmer collectives. Since suffering a torn ACL and MCL in his right knee during the 2024 season, Aiyuk and his current team have been in a dispute over his rehabilitation. За БТА преподавателят по музика Лала Банева каза, че инструментите са изработени от петокласници, а инициативата се провежда повече от десет години. В експозицията са показани китари, цигулки, барабани, акордеон, роял, кахон, дайре и кастанети, изработени от картон, стиропор, кашони, метални капачки, дървени пръчици и други подръчни материали. По думите на Банева всяка година децата успяват да я изненадат с оригинални идеи и нестандартни решения. Когато за първи път дадох тази задача, се чудех дали ще я приемат децата. След това започнаха да носят толкова интересни инструменти, че останах изненадана“, добави Лала Банева. Тя обясни, че проектът се възлага като домашна работа, за която учениците разполагат с около месец, а в изработването на инструментите често се включват и техните родители. Според преподавателя една от най-нестандартните изработки са били кастанети от метални капачки за бутилки, а сред най-интересните експонати е и кахон, направен от обикновен кашон. Искаме децата не само да познават музикалните инструменти, но и да развиват въображението си и да виждат как ненужните материали могат да получат нов живот“, допълни Банева. Инициативата е част от обучението по музика и се организира след като учениците вече са изучили различните видове музикални инструменти. Изработените проекти остават изложени във фоайето на училището и могат да бъдат разгледани от ученици, родители и гости.

RIYADH — Seven OPEC+ countries agreed on Sunday to increase oil production by 188,000 barrels per day (bpd) in August 2026. The decision was reached during a virtual meeting of Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Oman to review global oil market conditions and the outlook. The production adjustment stems from the additional voluntary cuts announced in April 2023 and will take effect in August. CD Projekt joint CEO Michał Nowakowski understands that some fans of the developer have lost faith in the company indefinitely following the Cyberpunk 2077 catastrophe. It's now sold more than 35 million copies, reaching that number faster than The Witcher 3. The turnaround for the game, culminating with the game's 2.0 release and the launch of the Phantom Liberty expansion, was considered to be one of the most compelling turnaround stories in games. But the reputational damage remains intact, Nowakowski said. I'm not 100 convinced we went through the full redemption arc, he said. I'm convinced that we lost the faith of some people indefinitely, and that's a fair thing. But I do hope we will be able to make it back--if not with The Witcher 4, then with whatever comes next. The Witcher 4 doesn't have a release date yet. It's one of multiple games in the works at CD Projekt Red, with some of the others being a remake of the original Witcher, a new IP, and a game with Saudi Arabia.
