Powell has agreed to a two-year deal that could be worth up to 45 million with the Chicago Bulls, a person with knowledge of the talks said Wednesday. Powell also had received some interest from the Detroit Pistons, said the person, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the contract cannot be finalized until July 6 at the earliest.

Norman Powell, Bulls Agree To Two-Year, $45M Contract
The Chicago Bulls and guard Norman Powell have agreed to a two-year, 45 million contract. This will use up most of Chicago's remaining cap space. Powell was a first-time All-Star for the Miami Heat last season. The 33-year-old shooting guard averaged 21.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Powell shot 47 from the field, including 38 on three-pointers. Powell was traded to Miami ahead of last season from the LA Clippers.
