Prime Day: Save $150 On The Apple AirPods Max 2

When it comes to headphones, few products are as popular as the Apple AirPods Max 2. They're also quite expensive, with a price tag of 549. But that's not the case for Prime Day, as right now you can scoop up the headphones for just 399. That is the best price we've ever seen for the AirPods Max 2, which rarely go on sale (and previous deals were normally around 40 off). If you're interested in the deal, you'll want to pick it up soon, as Amazon's Prime Day event only runs June 23-26. See at Amazon This deal applies to the midnight, purple, starlight, and blue versions of the AirPods Max 2. Regardless of which color you pick, they're all powered by the same H2 Chip. This gets you impressive noise cancellation abilities (said to be 1.5x better than the old AirPods Max), adaptive audio that automatically modifies noise cancellation based on ambient sound, and personalized spatial audio for advanced fine-tuning of your listening experience. If you travel frequently, you'll also appreciate the Live Translation feature. By pressing a button on the headphones, you can automatically translate what someone is saying in real-time. It's powered by Apple Intelligence--and while it can be found on other Apple products, it's nice that the feature is integrated with the AirPods Max 2. Apple built the headphones with a knit-mesh canopy for added breathability and oversized memory foam earcups for comfort. These share the same color--so if you pick the purple model, both the earcups and headband will have a purple hue, making the entire pair of headphones as stylish as you'd expect from an Apple product. The biggest knock on the AirPods Max 2 is that they don't fold, which can make them more cumbersome to travel with than some of the competition. Battery life is also mediocre at up to 20 hours. If those are dealbreakers, check out the Sony WH-1000XM6. On sale for 378 (was 460), they fold inward for easy storage and get up to 30 hours on a single charge. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra also fold up into a neat package and boast a 24-hour battery life--and they're quite affordable at 269 (was 449).
