Nottingham Forest appoint former Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner as new head coach

Nottingham Forest have appointed former Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner as the club's new head coach.The Austrian becomes their fifth head coach in the last year, replacing Vitor Pereira, who was sacked last week.Glasner, 51, comes in having brought success to Palace, winning the FA Cup, the Community Shield and the Conference League.The Austrian had a positive spell in Germany too with Eintracht Frankfurt, winning the Europa League.Upon joining Forest, Glasner said: I'm delighted to join Nottingham Forest as head coach. From my very first conversations with the owner and the leadership team, it was evident to me that they have a clear vision for this football club and complete trust and belief in me and my staff to build a strong future together over the long term.
