No double standards over Iran having ballistic missiles, says Pakistan's PM Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Tuesday that there should be no double standards where some countries are permitted to have ballistic missiles while Iran is not. Sharif told reporters that there was no mention of ballistic missiles in the memorandum of understanding agreed between the US and Iran because it was “never on the table”. “Convey my message to the Supreme Leader that Iran has been able to achieve the ceasefire and MoU with dignity,” Sharif said at a press conference with Iran’s President Pezeshkian in Islamabad. He added that Pakistan would like to continue its role in mediating negotiations until a lasting peace is achieved.
