Recordings played in court have revealed the alleged gunman, accused of killing Charlie Kirk, confessed to his roommate after the shooting. ​Prosecutors say Tyler Robinson sent text messages to his roommate and partner, Lance Twiggs, owning up to the attack. Mr Twiggs claims the suspect wished “he hadn’t done it” the day after the shooting. The interviewer also showed the roommate surveillance photos of the shooting suspect, in which Mr Twiggs said it did appear to be Mr Robinson. Mr Twiggs said they rarely spoke of politics, and he had never heard Mr Robinson talk about Charlie Kirk before the shooting.
