Kyle Bevan's killers guilty of murdering child killer at high-security prison

Kyle Bevan's killers have been found guilty of murdering the child killer at a high-security prison in Yorkshire.Lee Newell, 57, Mark Fellows, 47, and David Taylor, 64, were convicted earlier today of attacking Bevan in his cell at HMP Wakefield on November 4.All three were seen on CCTV following the child killer into his cell after 5.30pm and could be seen emerging a few minutes' later in a satisfied, job-done mood, prosecutors observed.After the murderer was stabbed 25 times to the neck and body, the trio positioned his lifeless body to make it look as if he were sleeping and tucked up in bed. TRENDING Stories Videos Your Say The men used makeshift weapons, including a piece of metal from a television which was carved into a blade.An autopsy revealed that Bevan died from blood loss after heart and blood vessels were damaged during the attack.Bevan, 33, was not discovered until the next morning during a roll call when staff were informed that something was wrong by another convict.He was in prison for murdering his partner's two-year-old daughter Lola James back in 2020 and was serving a 28-year sentence for the crime.The trio will be sentenced at a later date after the jury spend fewer than three hours deliberating.Mrs Justice McGowan, said: We do not know who did what in the cell.At least one person must have inflicted the fatal injuries.
