Kaye Adams 'preparing to sue BBC' following Loose Women star's radio show axe

Kaye Adams has reportedly engaged legal representation to pursue action against the BBC.It comes following the presenter's departure from Radio Scotland earlier this year.The 63-year-old Loose Women panellist was dismissed from her weekday morning programme in February after an internal investigation upheld three complaints of misconduct against her.Sources have indicated that Ms Adams, who earned £155,000 annually in the role, was left devastated by the decision and believes she was subjected to a witch hunt.A source told The Mail on Sunday: Kaye has got herself a lawyer who is looking at everything and she is poised to take the legal action. She is looking at the options.The presenter was initially suspended from the station in October and never returned to air before her formal termination approximately five months later.The allegations against Ms Adams centred on three separate incidents that were examined during the BBC's internal inquiry.She was accused of hurling a pencil at a producer, an allegation a source described as way off the mark.A second complaint alleged she had directed a misogynistic slur at a colleague, with this incident said to have occurred approximately 14 years ago.The third accusation claimed she had reprimanded an intern regarding their professional capabilities.Ms Adams has firmly rejected all three claims and suggested that her assertive manner may have been misinterpreted as bullying behaviour.In her Instagram statement, she wrote: I categorically deny using a misogynistic slur 14 years ago, and I'm horrified at its invention more than a decade later.
