John Bolton to plead guilty to federal crime: Report

Former National Security Adviser John Bolton will reportedly plead guilty to one of the 18 federal charges against him, according to sources who spoke to CNN.Bolton was indicted by a federal grand jury in Maryland in Oct. 2025 on eight counts of unlawful transmission of national defense information and 10 counts of unlawful retention of national defense information.'I think he's, you know, a bad person. I think he's a bad — yeah, he's a bad guy. It's too bad. But that's the way it goes, right?
