‘It's your responsibility’: Telstra grilled after Triple Zero outage
Sky News host Caleb Bond criticises Telstra following the nationwide outage, arguing Australians deserved far more answers after a software failure disrupted access to Triple Zero. “Telstra chief executive Vicki Brady returned from her European holiday today to front the media after this week's outage which affected the ability to call triple zero,” Mr Bond said. “She confirmed that the outage was over but apart from that we didn't learn a great deal. “It began at 3 am on Wednesday and was discovered by Telstra at 4.30 am. She first heard about it at 7 am. “This was caused by a software glitch, but don't worry because Ms Brady says they'll work out what lessons they need to learn. “It's your responsibility to make sure people can call triple zero no matter what.”
