Howard professor blames Metcalf’s dad after Karmelo Anthony murdered his son

Sky News host Rita Panahi reacts to unhinged commentary surrounding the murder of Austin Metcalf. “Now talking about intense, unhinged hate, we continue to see just horrid takes on the Karmelo Anthony case, including from people we’d hope would know better, including this academic Dr Stacy Patton, a Howard University journalism professor,” Ms Panahi said. “Somehow found a way to blame Austin Metcalf’s grieving father for the teen's murder. “She said, ‘You stood in that courtroom and told a black teenager … he failed his parents, himself and society. But perhaps the harder truth is that you failed your son first’. “How can one even respond to something that is so vile, so unhinged and frankly so cruel?”
