California Democrat driven from LGBTQ event ‘for being terrible on Gaza'

California Democrat driven from LGBTQ event ‘for being terrible on Gaza' California State Senator Scott Wiener, a progressive Jewish lawmaker and leading candidate to succeed former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was chased out of a transgender community march in San Francisco for his alleged pro-Israel stance, Israeli media reported. A video posted by a local activist showed Wiener being accosted by a crowd in San Francisco’s Dolores Park and calling him a “genocidal piece of shit”. The activist filming the video then shouts, “I think your policy on the genocide in Gaza is terrible. I think you do not belong here.” In a statement, Wiener said the reaction forced him to leave the annual trans march for the first time in 22 years. He said attempts to intimidate and physically bully him crossed a line, according to The Times of Israel. The incident came days after Wiener said he was heckled by an anti-Zionist activist at a San Francisco bar. Scott Wiener showed up to the trans march and for the first time we kicked his ass out. It's sad because while he's written some good legislation for queers, hes ultimately a genocidal-supporting center right shill. Trigger warning: broken man walking away defeated. Chris Hayes cracks up as Trump celebrates 'double endorsement' primary win

MS NOW's Chris Hayes cracked up on Tuesday's broadcast of All In after President Donald Trump celebrated the results of a primary race where he endorsed both candidates. Alan Wilson, the South Carolina attorney general, defeated the state's Lieutenant Governor, Pamela Evette, in a Republican Governor primary race. Trump endorsed both candidates in the race, which the Associated Press called after just 8 of the vote had been counted. Trump posted a picture celebrating Wilson's victory shortly after the announcement, which made Hayes crack up. He noted that the president had previously endorsed Evette to win in the first round of the primary. Trump clearly doesn't care. He just cares about loyalty, and he cares about being seen as a winner, Hayes said, laughing. So, his team gave him some internal data, and it looks like this guy is winning, so go with him.Hayes then read from Trump's Truth Social post, which made him laugh even harder. After Wilson was declared a Republican nominee for governor. Alan Wilson wins, endorsed by President Trump, Hayes said Dot, dot dot. So was the other person in the race, Ali Velshi, MS NOW's chief data reporter, chimed in.

GOP Senator Unveils 'Unusual' Move To Play 'Hardball' Against His Own Party

Sen. John Cornyn spent years voting as President Donald Trump's demanded, cheering the president's speeches, and trying to rename a Texas highway after him. He lost his Senate seat anyway. Now he's done toeing the line for Trump and the Republican Party. The four-term Texas Republican was ousted in May by Ken Paxton, whom President Donald Trump endorsed at the last minute. Paxton won by 28 points. Cornyn sat down with Semafor this week and said what he apparently kept quiet through years of courtship. The contrast with what came before is stark. Cornyn wrote on X that he had a 99.3 percent voting record with the president and was proud of what we have accomplished together. He pushed a state bill to rename a Dallas-area highway as Interstate 47 in Trump's honor — an effort he told the Daily Beast may not make it into my priorities the next seven months. He posed for a widely mocked photo in which he appeared to be reading Trump's ghostwritten book, The Art of the Deal. None of it was enough. read more
