Elliot Anderson has become the most expensive British player ever as Manchester City fork out a staggering £116million.The Englishman joins from Nottingham Forest after having a fantastic season at the City Ground.The deal sees Anderson surpass the £115m paid for Jude Bellingham by Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2023.Only Liverpool's signings last summer of Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz sit higher than Anderson, with Isak costing £125m and Writz £116.5m.
