On Thursday’s episode of The Source, Jennings claimed that thanks to President Donald Trump and his administration, the economy is booming. “Gas prices are not up, they’re down below 4 a gallon nationally,” he said. “Oil’s trading at 71 a barrel. We don’t run the gas price tracker on the screen anymore for a reason, you know? It’s because it’s a non-story.” After he finished reeling off other so-called accomplishments of the Republican party, Collins took him to task on what he said about gas prices being a “non-story.” “The president doesn’t think they’re a non-story, because he was sounding like President Biden yesterday, saying that these companies are gouging people,” Collins fired back. “He wants to look into it, because he doesn’t think prices are coming down fast enough.
