Ashby unloads on Albanese: ‘Cunning, sly and playing the victim, I wouldn’t trust him’
One Nation Chief of Staff James Ashby accuses Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of hypocrisy, claiming the Prime Minister personally targets One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson while publicly condemning political attacks. “It’s one thing for Jacinta Allan to play the victim, but when I saw the prime minister’s comments today basically saying don’t go the personal attacks, that is precisely what this man does,” Mr Ashby told Sky News host Peta Credlin. “I’ve seen it firsthand. Pauline Hanson has had her staff reduced down to two personal staff under this prime minister, it has been nothing but a personal attack. “He didn’t use cheap words like ' witch, ' but he’s treating Pauline Hanson like a witch. “He’s just doing it in a cunning, sly way, and that’s the act of this prime minister. I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw him. “He’s got nothing up top. He just likes to play the game; he loves to play the victim, and he will do anything to win in this next election.”
