GOP Primary Voters Remain Deeply Supportive of Israel, Poll Finds
Anti-Israel radicals are ascendant in the Democratic party, but Republican primary voters remain deeply supportive of the Jewish state, a Washington Free Beacon poll found. The survey, conducted in early June found that likely Republican primary voters prefer a candidate who supports a strong U.S.-Israel relationship by a margin of 57 percentage points and who explicitly denounces antisemitism by a margin of 52 percentage points. By the same token, survey respondents also said they were less likely to support a candidate who describes Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a war criminal, who takes steps to economically isolate Israel, and who votes against congressional resolutions denouncing antisemitism – by margins of 25 points, 43 points, and 43 points respectively. Israel’s far-right finance minister boasts of army’s destruction of Lebanese infrastructure
Israel’s far-right finance minister boasts of army’s destruction of Lebanese infrastructure Far-right Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has defended Israel’s agreement with Lebanon by openly saying the Israeli military continues to control territory inside the country. Smotrich said the army “controls a security strip in Lebanon” and is “deepening the destruction of infrastructure along its length and breadth above and below ground”. His comments underline Israel’s refusal to withdraw from Lebanese territory and its continued destruction inside the country despite diplomatic efforts. Smotrich said Hezbollah “hasn’t been eliminated yet, but it has been severely struck”, adding that there was “an international commitment to its elimination” and to preserving “Israeli freedom of action to thwart threats and prevent buildup”. He said Israel would remain in the security zone until then. Smotrich also said Iran was “much weaker than it was on the eve of the war – militarily, governmentally, and economically”.

A shocking new Pew poll reveals that 44 of Muslim Americans have a favorable view of Hamas, a designated terrorist organization. This isn't just an 'Israel problem' anymore; it is an American problem. When nearly half of a demographic supports a group that committed the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, the West must ask itself hard questions about radicalization within its own borders.
