Breaking News: Queensland Police have arrested and charged four young men following a terrifying series of random, drive-by weapon attacks targeting unsuspecting pedestrians across Brisbane's inner-west suburbs. The perpetrators allegedly used handmade slingshots loaded with heavy lead fishing sinkers to shoot at innocent people from a passing car. Reporting live from Brisbane, Queensland Reporter Andrea Crothers revealed the shocking extent of the violence. The dangerous spree left multiple victims with horrific injuries, including a 64-year-old woman who was struck directly in the jaw and very nearly blinded by the high-velocity impact. Another victim, a 22-year-old woman, was left with a deep, bloodied puncture wound to her forehead. Speaking anonymously, one of the targeted individuals expressed her ongoing trauma, stating that she still feels physically sick knowing that someone could look to randomly harm so many people. Following a fast-moving investigation, authorities intercepted the suspects' vehicle before executing tactical raids on two residential properties in Forest Lake and Redbank Plains. Bodycam footage released by police shows the moment officers uncovered the handmade offensive weapons and ammunition inside the homes. Three 19-year-olds and a 20-year-old man have since been taken into custody and are now facing multiple serious charges, including acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
