Victor Wembanyama has been diagnosed with a concussion after he was hurt early in the second quarter of the San Antonio Spurs' 106-103 loss in Game 2 to the Portland Trail Blazers. Wembanyama was driving to the basket against Blazers guard Jrue Holiday when he was fouled, lost his footing and fell forward, striking his head on the floor. He remained down briefly, appeared disoriented while attempting to rise and was ultimately escorted to the locker room for evaluation.

Wembanyama sat out 18 regular-season games this year, including all three matchups against Portland. San Antonio went 12-6 without him in the lineup.
