President Donald Trump said he is considering withdrawing US troops from Italy and Spain over their lack of support in the US-Israeli war with Iran, a day after announcing that Washington would reduce the number of military personnel in Germany. Reuters agency reported last week an internal Pentagon email that outlined options to punish NATO allies that Washington believes failed to support US operations in the war with Iran, including suspending Spain from NATO and reviewing the US position on Britain’s claim to the Falkland Islands.
