U.S. aerospace technology company Northrop Grumman's resupply spacecraft arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) on Monday, delivering a fresh batch of scientific experiments and essential cargo to the orbiting laboratory, reported Xinhua. The company's Cygnus XL cargo spacecraft was launched on Saturday aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

Upon arrival on Monday, NASA astronaut Chris Williams used the station's Canadarm2 robotic arm to capture the spacecraft at approximately 12:50 p.m. Eastern Time. The spacecraft will be installed on the Earth-facing port of the station's Unity module and is expected to remain at the ISS until October. The spacecraft delivered more than 11,000 pounds of scientific investigations and cargo to the ISS, according to NASA.
