President Donald Trump was widely mocked after bragging in a post on Truth Social that he aced more cognitive tests than former Presidents Joe Biden and Barack Obama.Trump has previously been criticized for bragging about acing the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), which he's referred to as an intelligence test.While he bragged about acing an exam used to assess cognitive impairment, he failed to understand that the higher your score, the worse the outcome—and that claiming he performed better than Democrats would if they were in his position isn't at all a good thing.MoCA was designed to assess different cognitive domains, including attention and concentration, executive functions, memory, language, visuoconstructional skills, conceptual thinking, calculations, and orientation. The assessment's questions are simple and ask test subjects to demonstrate if they can remember five words. Critics have stressed that it is unimpressive that Trump can remember five words—namely “person, woman, man, camera, TV”—as Trump demonstrated at one point on live television.But nonetheless, Trump shared an image on Truth Social that displays the tally of cognitive tests that have been aced between the three men: Biden and Obama have the number zero displayed beneath their respective portraits. Trump's post came as he bragged that “everything checked out PERFECTLY” following the fourth publicly-disclosed medical examination of his second term. It was not immediately clear whether the White House would release detailed findings from the president’s physician to back up the claim or specify what tests were included.The White House was later called out for using its official X account to gloat about his perfect bill of health. Critics pointed out that the White House is not being transparent about the scope of Trump's health problems or his recent hospital visits.
