Let’s just say, they aren’t the 66. I’m sure this will fix everything right up up: U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio visited the Vatican for a 2½-hour visit to mend ties after President Donald Trump’s criticisms of Pope Leo XIV and his calls for peace in the U.S.-Israeli war in Iran. The first American pope has said his role is to “preach peace,” while Trump has claimed Leo is “weak on crime” and terrorism.
The U.S. State Department said Rubio and Vatican leaders discussed efforts to achieve a durable peace in the Middle East We have one very hot middle east war in the midst of serious negotiations that could result in the next world war, another war on the edge of Europe that could also push us into world war, plans to invade and apparently occupy half of central and South America, a massive rift with every one of our international allies and the Secretary of State is in Italy to try to mend fences with the Pope who Trump has insulted and demeaned. Meanwhile, the Vice President is in Iowa obviously stumping for the 2028 election. I guess Trump, Witkoff and Kushner are the only game in town. Literally. OMG.
