Trump says US 'can't take care of daycare' while 'fighting wars,' states should fund Medicare

Trump added that it was the responsibility of states to fund daycare as well as other services like Medicaid. Days later, Trump requested a 10% cut in non-defense spending for the 2027 fiscal year and a massive $500 billion increase in the military budget, according to Reuters.
