In an email to family members, the 31-year-old suspected shooter Cole Allen wrote: “I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.” Assuming that Allen was talking about him, Trump repeated the false claim that he had been “totally exonerated” of sexual crimes.
