Torrential rain in Greece causes deadly flooding, sweeping away homes and cars

A 55-year old man died and dozens of homes were flooded after heavy rain and gale-force winds battered Greece, leaving authorities rushing to repair the damage. Extensive damage was reported in towns in the northeastern Attica region, about 35 kilometres from the capital, Athens.
