Thessaloniki city council rejects petition for public say in fairgrounds revamp

Thessaloniki’s municipal council has rejected a petition submitted by more than 23,000 residents demanding a say in plans for a large-scale redevelopment of the northern port city’s Helexpo fairgrounds.
