Earlier this month, a Thai-flagged cargo ship was struck by unknown projectiles in the Strait of Hormuz, highlighting risks to maritime traffic in the area. Oman’s navy later rescued the crew, though three members remain missing, underscoring ongoing security concerns in the vital shipping corridor.
