Tehran Red Crescent teams pull survivors from rubble as threat of airstrikes persists

Red Crescent teams in Tehran are conducting high-risk rescues in damaged residential buildings after intercepted missiles and falling debris left stairwells and walls destroyed. Working in heavy rain amid unstable structures and the reported threat of further US and Israeli airstrikes, crews are lowering the injured through shafts and hand-to-hand down stairwells while search dogs sweep rooms.
