Taiwan President Lai Ching-Te has cancelled his trip to Eswatini after several countries revoked overflight permits due to pressure from China. China has thanked the countries for adhering to its 'One China' principle. Taiwan's presidential office Secretary-General Pan Men-an spoke on the events. “This type of behaviour, using coercive means unprecedented in the international community, to force third countries to alter their sovereign decisions, not only impacts flight safety and violates international regulations and conventions but also constitutes an open interference in another country's internal affairs.”
