Starmer government exposes Russian submarine mission

The UK government has publicly exposed a Russian submarine mission in the hopes of deterring President Vladimir Putin from targeting the country's underwater infrastructure. The government and its allies tracked the subs in the North Atlantic, the site of critical undersea cables. UK Defence Secretary John Healey has warned of serious consequences for the Kremlin if any damage was caused in the operation.
